We have a clear vision: to be the most trusted tutoring company, where students and tutors love to learn and teach respectively. At Lotus Tutors, we strongly believe every student has the capacity to excel and achieve their target grades given the right training and mentoring. That is precisely what we and our fantastic team of tutors thrive to do.
We provide home tutors in Oxford for maths, English, sciences, languages, primary, common entrance, GCSE & A-Level subjects. Our private tutors provide one-to-one at home or online tutoring. In Oxfordshire we cover Oxford, Abingdon, Bicester, Didcot, Wantage and all towns and villages.
All our tutors are based in the UK and educated from the top Universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Our tutors understand the requirements of the various exams boards for all academic subjects. The importance of building confidence in a student, exam techniques and revision methods are paramount tutoring strategies used by our tutors.
All tutors are enhanced DBS checked ( previously known as CRB), personally screened by our office and interviewed face-to-face to ensure the students get safe and right quality of tutoring.
I found my tutoring with Anderson amazingly helpful. His patients and in-depth knowledge of maths has provided me with the confidence to complete online numerical reasoning assessments. Thanks you for helping me with my fear of maths!
The services were accessible, the response time was good and the tutors we encountered were patient and encouraging. Thank you.
Delightful and enthusiastic tutor who is consistently patient and made sessions fun.
Aathira’s first tutoring for her 11+ exams went very well and we all are highly impressed with her tutor. Thank you very much for your help.
Initially, the idea of remote tutoring was new to me and I was a bit sceptical about how effective it might be. However, after a few sessions my daughter was extremely happy with the tutors, technology worked very well and it turned out to be the most efficient way of private tutoring for us. The results were very positive for my daughter and we are extremely satisfied. More should be said about the tutors. They were very knowledgeable, keen to teach, organised and in touch with what an A level student needs. We are completely happy. It was money well spent.
The personal touch, the representative came to find out what the needs were and tailored the tutors to suit the needs of my son. He had good scores and what he felt he needed was some extra coaching with tutors,one-to-one, so he could discuss specific gaps with them and get extra exam practice. The tutors were extremely good, my son liked their teaching style and how approachable they were; they were just what my son needed. He got the grades he needed comfortably and is now studying medicine. I think the Lotus Tutors made a big contribution towards this achievement.
Personalised, Tailored to needs of child, Communication is high.
The representative came to visit personally to meet my son to get an idea what was required, in order to find the most suitable tutor for him. The tutor that was assigned to help my son was very polite, professional and my son really enjoyed the time spent with her, it really was the right tutor choice. In addition he achieved his grade B in English language for the higher tier whereas the school only predicted he may scrap a D and were only going to enter him for the foundation English although at the age of 11 he was predicted A*. The right environment and tutor really does make a difference.
I just wanted to say how impressed we have been with Anderson. His professional approach , conscientiousness and mild manner have all contributed to my daughter, Jade gaining in confidence in Economics over the past six months . I cannot recommend Anderson enough and would be very happy at any time to write a testimonial on his behalf . I am writing this prior to my daughter getting her A level results so my reviews are not solely based on good results .
Further to my recent telephone conversation, I am pleased to advise Gracie’s progress has been noted at school as well as at home. Gracie is currently in year 3 at Primary School, as you may be aware, in year 2 each child is assessed again the National Curriculum in an exercise called SATs. The benchmark for the average child of this age is 2b, however, Gracie was classified as a fail, as she scored a 1a. Gracie has been receiving assistance from Linda since late August and she has concentrated on Literacy in the main with Gracie. She has worked hard alongside Gracie’s form tutor and is covering similar topics to provide Gracie with some consistency. In addition to this Gracie is receiving extra support in school through a programme called ‘fresh start’. Last week Ms Munley, Gracie’s form tutor asked to chat to me, as she is delighted to report that Gracie has moved from a 1a to a 2c in the matter of six weeks. This is an exceptional effort from Gracie and we feel it is down to the joined up approach that the school and Linda have taken. On the matter of Linda , she is so very suited to Gracie, they have formed a strong friendship and Gracie really looks forward to her sessions. Linda has allowed Gracie to grow in confidence and is always full of praise for Gracie when she gets things right in sessions, but never negative when she takes a step back or struggles with something. Clearly, Linda has been teaching for some time, and this shows in her approach, however, to us she is a god send, we are so thrilled to have been introduced to her and the joy of learning she has brought to Gracie. Thank you for your continued support
